"Teacher Gloria is very fun and caring. She has helped me improve in my E Math in Sec 1 and 2. She helped my grades go from E8 to A1 for my Sec 2 exams and has also helped me in my Sciences. She is very spot on when catching your mistakes in a question and can identify what areas you need to improve on. She is also very understanding when it comes to how to improve and make less mistakes."

"Teacher Gloria is a fun, lively and understanding teacher. She is able to pinpoint areas that I struggle in and give me useful tips and techniques to strengthen my understanding in these weak areas. I was initially tutored for both for E and A math, where she was able to clarify doubts that I had in these two subjects easily. Towards my O Level period, I also requested her help in Combined Science (Bio & Chem). In this short period of time, she was able to boost my confidence in the subject and my results improved by 6 grades!! Moreover she even helped in preparation for my EAE application, encouraging me and guiding me every step of the way. "Gloria is a fun and engaging teacher who helped me in my studies. She taught me Combined Science (Bio and Chem) for two years and managed to help me pull my results up from a F9 to an A1. I was able to maintain my A1 consistently until my prelims. After my prelims, she realised that I also needed help with my other subjects and she provided additional help for Literature, History, Social Studies, and especially E Math. Her tutoring was extremely beneficial to me as it helped me to understand concepts better and learn new study methods, and I feel that I managed my O level examinations quite well. "The two years in Gloria’s classes were helpful for me because she helped me get a better understanding of topics that were confusing. She also helped me minimise my careless mistakes that were causing me to lose marks. By encouraging me to go to open houses to see the interesting courses I could go to after I graduated, she also helped me to plan for the future and think about what I’m going to do after I graduate. She actually started doing planning exercises with me since the beginning of Sec 3 and showed me the different pathways that I could follow and we researched the marks and points I needed to get for those courses, so she was very helpful to me and she made me be better than I ever thought I could be in Maths."

"姐姐 Gloria is a very nice person. She is very kind and supportive of everyone, regardless of how much they score, as long as they try their best. She is also great to talk to and is very trustable with all your problems. I personally think that she is one of the best teachers around. She helped me improve to an A* from a B for Math. When my Chinese tuition teacher had cancer, 姐姐 Gloria taught me Chinese, even though I am terrible at Chinese and it is very hard to teach me Chinese. Without her, I wouldn't have gotten all As for my PSLE, and I wouldn't have gotten a Merit for Higher Chinese. I sincerely thank her for all she has done for me, even though sometimes we annoy each other. When you are having a rough day, she will comfort you and support you unconditionally. She is quite strict at times, but it is only when you don't do your homework, or when you don't put in effort. Other than that, she loves sharing her gummies with you and even cracks jokes with you during class. She is extremely funny, and will make even the toughest people laugh."

"Class with Gloria is always fun and fulfilling as she always tries to make her lessons more enjoyable with videos and interesting facts. Her way of teaching encourages me to think for myself, which really broadens my perspectives on different things. I think the way she encourages us to think for ourselves is really useful as it really changes a lot how I look at things, the way I approach a question, and helps me find my own writing style. I think she is an amazing teacher and she is really patient and funny."

"Gloria has a strong sense of wonder and curiosity. She's also resilient and empathetic. Her curiosity and resilience are her driving factors to learn more about everything. I remember during one lesson, I couldn’t understand a Chemistry question that required a higher level of thinking, and she couldn’t figure it out on the spot because we had run out of time. When she came for the next lesson, she told me that she had figured out the question from the previous week. I had not expected her to remember that question, much less continue to think about it after our class. I was amazed at her sheer determination to find the answer to satisfy her curiosity because I myself had given up and forgotten about it. There is no doubt that her passion for the subjects she teaches has inspired me to learn and do even better. Gloria cares about how her students are doing, mentally and academically. I recall a period when I was having a difficult time managing my school work and other commitments, and she was understanding when I could not finish the work she had assigned. Whenever exams were nearing, she would check in with me often to see how I was coping with my revision. I always looked forward to having lessons with Gloria because not only did she make my interest in Chemistry grow, but I also had a friend that I could confide in."

"Ms. Gloria was very patient with me. Having her as my tutor was the right choice because she still tried her best to squeeze in all the information I needed to know even though I hired her at the last minute. She is more of a friend to me than a tutor, she is YOUNG AT HEART!!! Her lame jokes need some improvement, but I always looked forward to whenever we had class because it wasn't stressful at all and it was engaging and fun. <3 She would also make time to read up on extra topics to ensure that students will benefit. The information she taught was relevant and helped me a lot! Not only did she take time to make sure I understood, she even helped me prepare for exams in a subject that she wasn't actually hired to tutor me in! She also has a heart of GOLD - she sources for donated textbooks for her students who need financial help. Whenever I need help in a new subject, I always ask her first whether she knows how to teach it. If she can, I always come back to her for help.
